Hair Loss Cure or All Hype?

Revivogen: Hair Loss Cure or All Hype?

The Revivogen line of hair care products is scientifically formulated to combat hair loss. It was developed by leading dermatologists, and designed to work at the hair follicle. A hormone called DHT is believed to be one of the primary factors in hair loss, especially if it is hereditary. This hormone is created by a complex reaction which occurs within the hair follicle. Special ingredients in Revivogen products are believed to inhibit the production of DHT thereby slowing hair loss.

There are only three products in the Revivogen line: Bio-Cleansing Shampoo, Hair Thickening Conditioner, and Scalp Therapy serum. They are meant to be used together. The shampoo and conditioner have small amounts of the growth activating compounds, along with ingredients designed to maintain optimal hair health. The special Scalp Therapy serum is the real magic worker in treating hair loss. It contains highly concentrated levels of DHT blocking, growth promoting compounds.

If you are just beginning to notice your hair thinning, or hairline receding, the trio of Revivogen products may be all you need. Severe or advanced hair loss would probably be treated more effectively with a product such as Rogain, although Revivogen would probably enhance the effects of such a treatment.

Despite rave reviews from some users, others report no success with Revivogen. One of the most common complaints of disappointed users is that hair loss increased after only a few uses. This is actually normal, and the issue is even addressed on the manufacturer's website. As the growth phase of hair follicles is activated, the progress of existing hair is accelerated. Strands of hair do not go from healthy to gone in an instant. There is a transition phase when the hair is still attached, but dying. Any hairs in this stage will be released faster, as new growth should be coming faster. After the first month, the increase in hair loss should cease, and you should begin to see a significant reduction in hair loss.

Revivogen isn't a quick fix. It takes 12 to 18 months of use to realize the full potential of what it can do for you, and that is only if you use it correctly. It should be used 3 to 5 times a week, and using the serum is essential. Many users dislike the strong odor and sticky consistency of the scalp serum. Many people, even those with no hair loss issues, use the shampoo and conditioner saying it leaves hair soft, smooth, and full of body. However, if you choose to use the shampoo and conditioner without the serum, don't expect it to treat hair loss.

So, should you try Revivogen? The answer depends primarily on your hair, and your budget. If you suffer from normal, genetic, age-related, or unknown cause hair loss, the product will most likely help, at least to some extent. However, this is only if you can afford to (and are willing to) use it on a regular basis, long-term.

One of the most dreaded situations that can happen to people is when they find out they are losing their hair. Appearance is such a big thing for the majority of people, and being bald is not high on very many people's list of desires. Since most people are concerned about what other people think about them, losing their hair can be a real emotional experience. The sad thing is there are a lot of things in this life that are worse than losing your hair.Hair loss can be permanent or it can be temporary, such as that caused by drugs or stress. When people have hair loss in their family background, their baldness will be of the permanent type. Androgenetic alopecia or pattern baldness can affect either men or women, but with men it can happen at an early age with either a receding hairline or thinning hair. It will eventually lead to partial baldness in varying degrees or it will end up being total baldness. In women, it usually is later in life and manifests as thinning hair. Baldness that is temporary has a variety of causes, including hormonal changes, illnesses, drug use or even certain hairstyles. Healthy hair growth can even be affected by hair products that irritate the scalp. Those who are likely to get pattern baldness can slow it down, somewhat, and prevention can be very important for those who are losing their hair temporary. There are a lot of things you can do to help prevent hair loss, starting with a proper diet. Your body needs certain nutrients to operate at an optimum level, so even hair growth can be dependent on the quality of food you are eating. Maybe you can't eliminate hair loss by eating the right, nutritious foods, but it can certainly slow down the loss of your hair, by improving the growth and thickness of your hair. Quite often, the state of your hair can be a reflection on the state of your overall health. If you will develop hair habits that are proper, you can prevent hair loss that is excessive. You need to handle your hair gently, especially if you have a sensitive scalp. You need to be particularly careful when your hair is wet, because it is weaker at that time. If you will give up on your electronic hair blowers and use air drying methods that are natural, your hair will do better. Find a hairstyle you like and stick with it for longer periods, so that it goes through a normal growth cycle. Too much pressure on the scalp can hinder your hair from growing, so avoid hairstyles, such as braids, ponytails or buns. If you are pulling on your hair often, or rubbing and twisting it, you will most likely experience hair loss. These are a few things that can help slow down hair loss, especially if it is a concern you have.
